About Us
Asian American consumers are among the most engaged and influential audiences in the beverage industry. They value variety, quality, and premium offerings, and represent the fastest-growing multicultural group in the U.S., with more than $1.2 trillion in buying power. Yet their impact—and their voices—remain underrepresented.
At the same time, AAPI professionals continue to face systemic barriers to leadership and visibility across the beverage space. Despite strong participation as consumers, creators, and operators, Asian Americans are still the least likely group to be promoted into management roles.
Asian Beverage Voices (ABV) exists to close that gap. We champion AAPI representation across both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by amplifying industry voices, building community, and spotlighting innovation—especially as Asian cuisine, culture, and flavor continue to shape the future of drinking.

Nam Vo Duy
CO-FOUNDER
Nam is a seasoned leader, coach, and change agent with a 25-year career in luxury wines and spirits. Driven by a commitment to community and representation, he co-founded the AAPI ERG at Moët Hennessy USA and mentors emerging talent through the AAPA and the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF).
His leadership has been recognized at the highest levels: he was named a 2021 “AAPI Innovator to Watch” by Beverage Media and SevenFifty Daily, and received the 2022 “50 Outstanding Asian Americans in Business” award from the AABDC.
Originally from France and of Vietnamese descent, Nam has been a proud New Yorker since 2001.

Lucy Chen
CO-FOUNDER
Lucy is a second-generation Chinese-American who grew up in Miami and Princeton NJ. She was formerly the Global Programming Lead at Asian @ Uber. Previously, she led the AAPI ERG at SevenFifty and Drizly.
Lucy is passionate about empowering real people through DEIB and data. You can find her mentoring under-served pan-asian youth, amplifying intersectional stories, and driving workplace change. Outside of work, you can find Lucy exploring restaurants & bars, meeting her AAPI stories reading challenge, and daydreaming about being a fromagier (again).

Larry Lee
CO-FOUNDER
Larry is a publishing executive and creative leader with over 25 years of experience in the beverage alcohol industry. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Publishing Operations at Provi, overseeing editorial, design, and production for SevenFifty Daily and Beverage Media Group Publications and helping establish both platforms as trusted industry authorities. He is known for advising senior leadership on content strategy, audience growth, and scalable publishing operations aligned with broader business goals.
A Chinese-American born and raised in New York City, Larry is a lifelong creative—having drawn for Marvel Comics—and an avid health and fitness practitioner, training across disciplines from Muay Thai to high-intensity MetCons.
